Poor Customer Service

I visited Chadwick's store to enquire about a specific product for an art project. During the conversation, the man corrected my impression of this art form and the products used several times.
As a graphics and web designer and artist, I have recently spent time updating my knowledge of the product (although having used it over the past 10 years) and this person continued to contradict my comments throughout our discussion.
I walked out of the store feeling very angry and told him I would buy my products elsewhere. I expected some assistance with my request ... instead I felt he was imposing his own abilities on me.
I try to shop local wherever possible - I will not visit this shop again.

I have, only in the last 12 months taken up drawing and painting. Several times now I have been into the shop and Alan has gone out of his way to assist me in terms of advice and encouragement for my new found love's! I have found Alan to be extremely helpful not only in terms of advice on product but also in terms advice on the skills of drawing/painting. I am happy to support Chadwick's Fine Arts, one for having someone knowledgeable as Alan is who imparts advice in a way that builds the person up and two, because it is a local business.
